Peruvian cocoa is grown by small farmers in the Amazon region of Pucallpa. All of these farmers use sustainable farming techniques, protecting the rainforest and the environment. They all cooperate with international fair trade standards and receive above-average wages and regular training in organic farming methods.
\nOur cocoa is made predominantly from native Criollo beans. It is certified organic and cold processed to raw food quality. Thanks to minimal processing, important bioactive compounds and antioxidants are preserved.
